Water transferring
Water transfer is done to supply water from one area of water source to another. Open pipelines or canals are used to transfer water. Some areas suffer from lack of rainfall and drought due to geographical conditions. Therefore, in order to supply water to the area for drinking and agriculture, water is transferred from a basin full of water to that area.
In the world, water transfer projects have been carried out in some countries.
China: Water transfer from south to north of the country with a length of 4350 km – as the largest water transfer project
Libya: 1600 km artificial river project
Australia: 1800 km long Keita development project
